Dear Parents
We are very much looking forward to the return of all our children on Monday. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents, carers and grandparents for the support and hard work they have put into the children’s remote learning. It has been an extremely challenging time for the children, families and staff but the quality of work and communication has been remarkable, so thank you everyone. Hopefully now we look forward to religiously following the government roadmap so we reach that target of ‘normality’.
Please be reassured that our staff will provide the children with a warm welcome every day and will ensure that their emotional and mental well-being is the priority. We want you and your children to feel safe at St Wulstan’s and will continue to provide them with the excellent pastoral care that we pride ourselves on as well as ensuring that they are kept as physically safe as is manageable.
It is vital that you read through the full reopening letter uploaded to the website last week in detail to ensure the safety and well-being of our pupils, parents and staff. Just a reminder of some of the key points and also a few further updates in response to new government guidance.
We totally understand this is a worrying time for parents and wish to reassure you that we will do everything we can to ensure your children are happy, secure and safe in our care. It is extremely important that the systems we have put in place work effectively for everyone’s safety so please adhere to your allocated times and ensure any updated contact details are returned by Monday.
If you have any concerns at any time please do not hesitate to contact us via email or telephone.
We look forward to seeing you all Monday morning
