Dear Parents

Next week is a busy time with Sports Days and our annual Talent show, Could we please request that all the children all have their full PE kits including pumps or trainers from Monday. We will publish many photographs of Sports Day on our newsletter, website and Facebook next week as we fully appreciate how disappointing it is not to be able to invite parents onto the school site under government guidelines.

It was lovely to hear this week of sporting success of one of our Year 6 pupils. On Tuesday 6th July Molly Gariff was selected to represent the U11 Worcestershire Cricket Team against Staffordshire. Molly opened the bowling, taking a wicket in the first over. After fielding well she caught one off her own bowling too. It was then our turn to bat and Molly held her own, playing some lovely cover drives and didn’t get out. Molly enjoyed her day out representing her County and is developing well.

Well done Molly!

As we are entering our fourth year of using the School Life app for all parent communications, please could all parents ensure that the school office has up to date contact details and that you are correctly logged in to the app. This is extremely important over the coming summer holidays where guidance regarding COVID-19 might change. In order to receive all messages and communications, you must be logged in using your parent details and you must have push notifications enabled. If you are unsure of your details or need technical assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Warnett via the school office.

A request from Mrs Tasker. Could everyone please check to see if you have any school library books at home. Reminders will be sent but we do have many outstanding books and she hopes to reinstate our library borrowing system when school returns to more normality in September. Thank you

This week has been lovely to welcome back Mrs Warnett from her maternity leave. She has enjoyed catching up with the children this week and it feels like she has never been away!

A reminder that Wulstan's Lodge are running Holiday Club this summer. They do have some lovely activities planned so please contact Sally Bache on 01299 829032 if you would like to book a place for your child.

Reception were very excited to have a visit from the rabbits that Year 1 have been looking after. We were able to watch them hop around our carpet area and even got to hold them if we wanted to!
We have also been very excited about the football! We have painted England flags, sang songs and made England flag biscuits!
