Dear Parents

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our children back on Monday 8th March. Today a letter detailing information on re-opening has been published on the school website. A push notification will be sent to indicate any new documents regarding schools reopening next week. It is vital that you read through these letters in detail to ensure the safety and well-being of our pupils, parents and staff. Routines such as arrival and collection times will remain the same. Please contact the school office if you are unsure of your child's school day timings.

We will resume school lunches from 8 March, a menu is available on the website. School lunches can be ordered through Parent Pay in the usual way. Please order by this Sunday, 28 February, for lunches for the first week back. Universal Free School Meals in Reception and KS1 must still be booked.

When the children return to school could you please ensure they bring in all their Remote Learning books anf if you were in receipt of a DFE laptop please return it on Monday . We will be holding online Parents Evening later this half term. Details will be sent out once the children are back in school.

Please be reassured that our staff will provide the children with a warm welcome every day and will ensure that their emotional and mental well-being is the priority. We want you and your children to feel safe at St Wulstan’s and will continue to provide them with the excellent pastoral care that we pride ourselves on as well as ensuring that they are kept as physically safe as is manageable.

Next week is Book Week and manty exciting and enjoyable activities have been planned for the children. After such a challenging half term we hope you enjoy spending the week sharing stories, books and developing the children’s love of reading. Each teacher has recorded a daily storytime which we are sure the children of all ages will enjoy. It will be great to see photographs of the children engaging in the activities so please share them with us.

Finally, after Easter there will be some staffing changes as two members of staff take up new appointments and will be moving on from St Wulstan’s. Mrs Edwards has secured a new teaching post and Miss Hill will take up the role of Education lecturer at Worcester University. I am sure you join us in congratulating them both and wishing them every success in the future.

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend and continues to keep safe.

We are looking forward to all being back together soon.

Take care and God bless to all our families.

All the staff at St Wulstan’s.
