Dear Parents

A reminder to Year 5 parents that if you have not yet ordered your tickets please contact the office as soon as possible. Details regarding travel by coach for parents have been sent out. Please return your requests slips as soon as possible so arrangements for travel can be confirmed. We are all very much looking forward to the evening which is always a wonderful reflection of the hard work the children have put into their preparation.

Parents’ evening dates have been set for Tuesday 3 March 4.00pm -7.00pm and Wednesday 4 March 5.00 -7.00pm. Please book an appointment via the School life app. For Year 6 parents you will have been notified by then of your child’s place at High school. For those children moving onto Hagley, Mr Miastowski will be attending the Tuesday evening Parents Evening. This will give you an opportunity to meet with him on a one to one basis. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity please contact the school office to make an appointment.

Half term is fast approaching and Wulstan’s Lodge is now taking bookings for Holiday Club. There is a very generous offer for early booking before 7 February. pay just £18 per child per day- bookings made after this date will be charged at the normal price of £23 per child per day. Kidderminster Harriers Community Scheme will be holding our holiday football courses during half term. Course run 10am-3pm and are open to children aged 5-14 years. Younger children can attend for half days if they prefer. Cost is £10 for per day or, £27 for three. The courses will feature our Goalscorers Award and a mini soccer tournament, everyone who competes receive a prize. The venues are:-

Tenbury Wells - Tenbury High School - Monday 17th 

Droitwich – Dodderhill School – Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th 

Kinver High School - Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th
Worcester – Bishop Perowne College - Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th

Malvern – Dyson Perrins Academy - Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th

Bromsgrove- Catshill Middle School - Thursday  20th & Friday 21st 

Cleobury Mortimer Sports Centre - Thursday  20th & Friday 21st 

Kidderminster – Baxter College - Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th & Friday 21st

As we move into mid winter we are mindful of the prospect of bad weather. Should there be significant amounts of snow making it necessary to close the school, all families will be informed by school life app message .The information will also be posted on our website and the Worcestershire County Council website. I know how difficult school closures can be for parents so I would like to reassure you that we never take this decision lightly and the school would only be closed if the children's safety and wellbeing might be compromised by remaining open.
